Derek is a partner at UM Design International Studio. Derek has over 10+ years experience in the workplace design/build industry – with over 6 years as a Project Director on a variety of office, labs and innovation center projects. Over the years, Derek has also held a variety of different roles in Organizational Development, Business Development and Operations Management. Derek has a background in Sustainable Design (Energy Modeling) trained at the University of Toronto.
